Rev. Adedimeji Adegbesan serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He is an accomplished leader, pastor, and financial professional whose career spans over four decades across the banking and non-profit sectors. He holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance, and is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London. A strong advocate of continuous learning, Rev. Adegbesan is also an alumnus of LIFE Theological Seminary and the renowned Haggai Institute in Hawaii, USA. He is renowned for his integrity, strategic acumen, and servant leadership

Rev. Adegbesan’s professional career includes senior leadership roles within United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, where he managed several branches across key cities including Ibadan, Abeokuta, and Ijebu-Ode. His expertise in finance, governance, and institutional management continues to shape his leadership approach. In the faith-based sector, Rev. Adegbesan served for over 30 years in the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, culminating in his role as Southwest Regional Coordinator, where he provided oversight for 36 districts and over 1,200 churches. His pastoral legacy is marked by visionary growth, infrastructure development—including the construction of large-scale accommodation hostels—and strategic coordination across regions. He also held influential roles as National Convention Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Oyo State chapter.

A protégé of WYBF’s late founder, Rev. (Dr.) Wilson Badejo, Rev. Adegbesan has been a committed supporter of the foundation’s mission. He notably played a key role in the St. Peter’s School community development project in Abatan, Ogun state and has remained actively engaged in the foundation’s programmes and initiatives for many years.

As the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Rev. Adegbesan brings a unique blend of financial expertise, spiritual leadership, and a deep personal connection to WYBF’s founding vision. He is renowned for his integrity, strategic acumen, pragmatism, and positivity. His leadership helps strengthen board governance and drive sustainable impact in underserved communities across Nigeria and beyond. He is happily married and blessed with children.
